What impacts open and honest conversation about mental health in South Asian communities?  How might features of the model minority myth, family dynamics, self-worth, and a history of colonialism impact how we engage with topics around mental health and mental illness?  How can we leverage the strengths within the South Asian community to build resilience and overcome barriers to mental health support?

Join South Asian mental health professionals and community advocates as we engage in an intergenerational, nuanced, and, most of all, engaging conversation about these questions and more!
