Taking Charge of Your Career Success is a comprehensive conference series uniquely designed to help Asian professionals develop critical strategies for career advancement and leadership.
The series, originally conceived by NAAAP Boston and Dreambridge Partners, started in late 2010. The FAQ Tab has more information about the history, people and sponsors behind the Series.
Each of the previous conferences were attended by 75 – 95 Asian professionals, who gave top ratings in their evaluations. 97% said they would recommend the conferences to their friends, and 95% looked forward to attending future conferences.
Conference Series Design Features
The Conference Series is uniquely focused on Asian perspectives about career advancement in the U.S. The Series’ design is based on input from the NAAAP Boston community, who like their career learning experiences to be:
- In-depth — address the critical career topics, with meaningful exploration and discussion
- Actionable — prompt participants to not just listen but to take action and apply the lessons
- Inspirational — use panel discussion with role models who share real-world perspectives
- Engaging — provide interactive learning, with breakout sessions and networking opportunities
- Efficient scheduling — conduct the sessions on a Saturday when people are fresh and not being rushed
